Windows Vista - How to use 2 audio devices at the same time?

Hello.
I'm currently using Vista Ultimate 64bit.
I'm using my HD4850 with my Samsung LN32A550 LCD TV through the HDMI cable and noticed that the VGA has an audio controller called "ATI HDMI Output". If I set it to DEFAULT on Sound Manager at Control Panel, the TV will receive the sound from Windows, but then stops using the Realtek HD Audio (onboard chip).

Is there any way to make Windows Vista use both audio devices at the same time, so I can hear sound from TV and the other speakers?

Thanks.

Not in my experience, no. You can only choose one "default" sound device, which all programs (and Windows) will use for everything.

Some programs allow you to separately select a sound device for that program's output. In the past I've used this for media playback (e.g. Media Player, Winamp), so that the sound for that comes through the HDMI and Windows sound through regular speakers.

The other option is give up on sound via HDMI and use an analog cable for sound to the TV.

That really sucks.

I don't understand why Windows doesn't have that feature. It doesn't seem to be a hardware fault. It's probably Windows fault...

Would be great to have my musics to play both on speakers and TV at same time.
