Windows Vista Games

OK, so I have used Vista Beta2, and both release candidates, and I just installed Vista Enterprise edition that I got from school.

I noticed that no games are installed(is this so people can't play games at work or something?)

I really enjoyed playing the chess game and the drawing line game while beta testing, is there any way to get these games? And what is the deal with them not coming standard with windows?

Dunno, but I figure it's because it's the business version and not the home version.
That's it. It's most likely that they are disabled by default, but could be added with the right privledges.

I got my Enterprise copy through Tigerware as well and also noticed that there were no installed games. I didn't look to see if you could install the games from the Vista DVD because I reinstalled XP the next day.

The games are simply a checkbox in add/remove windows components. They are present in all versions afaik.

Yeah enterprise doesn't have them installed by default, but you can easily add them as Smilin mentioned.

Smilin is right. I just installed the games into my version of Vista Business. Thanks, I missed those.

BTW, there is no "Add/Remove" in Vista. The similar functionality is in Control Panel - Programs - Programs and Features - Turn Windows features on or off. I was looking for Add/Remove and it took me a minute to find it.

wouldn't be a new Microsoft operating system if anything worked the same as the last version. 😉
