Windows Vista faster boot up tip

This will only work if you have only one username with a password on it. When vista is loading and u get that short video of the vista logo RIGHT before the log on screen, enter ur passsword and hit enter as soon as you see that 2-3 second logo splash screen begin to play. You will skip right over the log-on screen into windows desktop. Try it, if you are anal about boot times like me, you will love the 2 seconds you save by doing the above. :thumbsup: :thumbsup:

i dunno it will make my laptop boot time faster but i remember reading other forum on other site that vista will delay to check to see if second monitor is hook up before going to desktop screen...it has to disable TMM something like that if you dont plan to use second monitor hook up.
