Hey, does Vista's Aeroglass work with intel integrated graphics, specifically the GMA900 and GMA950? They technically have the required shader capabilities, and can be allocated up to 128MB of ram, so can they work with it?

There are videos on google (I think) of it working on GMA950. I am not sure about GMA900, though.

Isn't GMA950 just GMA900 with a higher clock speed though? Why wouldn't GMA900 work?

Oh, and does that mean that GMA900 users have to revert back to the super-slow-now-completely cpu rendered 2d GUI?

I'm pretty sure there are hardware differences. Might have to do with the pixel shaders, I don't remember exactly.

And yes, regular 2D only. Kinda sucks considering how many 915-platform notebooks Intel sold, but at least Vista won't even start to become mainstream until mid-07
