for the speaker configuration for windows vista beat 2. It'll only display 2 speakers and mono. Im looking under audio devices and sound themes in the control center? Does windows vista beta 2 current not support more than 2 speakers? My sound card drivers are install correctly
 
i can't get the drivers to install at all. how did you get them working?? the creative x-fi beta drivers for vista 64-bit are six months old and according to people on creatives forums don't work with beta 2! anyone know how i can get anykind of sound out of this xtrememusic x-fi card?
 
Install the latest XP32 drivers for your sound card, then use the included control application to force the speakers to 5.1 mode. It'll piss Vista off a bit, but Vista will comply.
