I am not hugely interested in bubbles and aesthetics, I prefer functionality.
If I have a large screen, I want it to be used to display information, not waste huge areas with pictures or crap like that.

Well, since I've had Win2000Pro since it came out, I'll definately buy a full Pro version of Longhorn when it arrives. It's about time

I've skipped the other Windows versions since because 2000 has been rock solid and I never have problems........ Millenium (Me)= the suck & XP.

they dropped WinFS, so it doesn't matter now

it will come on new systems, so i'll get it at home when i buy a new computer with it

It doesn't. They stripped out the 3 primary features that Longhorn originally was dependent on. Now it's just XP with a few utilities slapped on.
