Windows Update works when using Firefox now!

No it does not .. MS insists on IE 5.5 or later for updates. However on my Firefox I have that site set to open in IE TAB which does work for that site.

Well, Windows Update is working in Firefox 3.04 for me, at least.
WinXP-SP3 & Firefox 3.04.
Could be due to having installed this Firefox Plugin (?):
MeadCo_Neptune.exe

Trying to figure out the steps that somehow enabled Windows Update in Firefox 3.04.
My dual-boot machine is enabled on one partition, but is only getting a "plugin required" notice
on the 2nd partition. On the one that IS working, a required plugin was "known" and was
quickly installed without any extra "bells or whistles". A 2nd "Windows Update" plugin also was
required, then the normal "Express" & "Custom" buttons appeared. Two system updates were subsequently found, which went ahead and installed normally.
