Windows Update Went Bad

I was doing a update, clicked on start, Windows Update, and did a custom update. When it was installing the updates it just hung at the Windows Media install, so I cancelled it, and rebooted the computer, but there where like still 4 installs left.

So when I reran the update over it did not show the option to reinstall these other 4 besides the fact that the Media player install never completed, so how can I go back and make sure this all installed correct or uninstall everything, or when I run the update over it does not detect anything and I can just do it from scratch?

By the way there is nothing in the Add Remove Programs for me to uninstall anything.

THANKS

To actually see the windows updates in the Add/Remove Programs, click on the "Show Updates" check box at the top of the window.

If you've already done that your other option can be to do a System Restore. I believe a restore point is created everytime you do a Windows Update(most likely because sometimes things go wrong).

Ahh, sheesh bone head me, wasn't paying attention to, "Show Updates" 😉

Ok one last thing, in the updates I don't see anything listed for the "The GDI+ security update", shouldn't it be there, because I know I picked it the first time around on the update.

THANKS

Should the "The GDI+ security update", be listed in the "Add or Remove Programs"?

THANKS

Ok I thought in there you should see it listed as "The GDI+ security update", or something to that effect, but I don't have anything listing it like that.

I'm not really worried about it, I just like to keep things neat and tidy is all. If I don't see it in there, you know anyway in which I can remove it and get it reinstalled?

THANKS
