I'm attempting to help my friend fix a "freezing up" problem when he trys to get to a website from a link that is in an e-mail in Outlook Express. I am using a remote control prog. to help him.
As part of trying to troubleshoot the problem, I am trying to run Windows Update and when it scans his machine it does not find any critical updates but it does find 10 Win CP Updates and several driver updates. When I try to go to them, it loops back to the "Scan for updates" again.
I can't seem to get it out of this loop.
Any suggestions?
