Windows Temp Files

Is there anyway that i can get rid of the temporary files in the TEMP directory on the windows drive
If i do will it cause problems?
A lot of the stuff is temp stuff from ZIP files because i never extract them...just run them from the ZIP file...can i get rid of them?

not likely to. just move all the files into another folder and delete, if u get problems put them back... dont stick them into a zip file as you might have to go thru DOS or whatever if there is a problem, which i say again is unlikely.

also make sure you have no programs running when u delete the files bcos some programs put files in there :)

you can blitz the entire folder and nothing will happen, then only thing windows uses it for is temporary storage, you are ment to delete it.The next time windows need the temp folder it will recreate it. i delete mine all the time and never have problems

Some files may still be in use, depending what Apps you have running.

Select all files except for current date and zap them.
