I just bought a $50 iMac 400MHz/320MB because my Core Solo vista laptop has a broken screen.

The iMac is actually faster to *use*. (of course some things it just can't do, like youtube). But anyway, it's way cooler and less headaches than Vista and it's faster to get stuff done on, and it cost $50, including a keyboard+mouse.
 
That's because you're not running Vista. 😕

Of course a POS computer is gonna run a POS operating system "better than Windows".
 
I just hang out in the BIOS. It's very responsive without all that Vista bloatware and DRM. You can't do too much but it's got some colors and is pretty kick back.

Yeah. You know what my first experience was on a Mac? Spinning Beach ball of Death.

I have yet to encounter 1 blue screen on my computer in 2 years of heavy usage.

Same. OP probably needed to format and is blaming his crappy windows install on the OS instead of his craptastic ability to use the computer.
