Question Windows Sound Options

The Problem: When left clicking the speaker icon on the taskbar, the list of audio playback devices incorrectly indicates (2-Realtek Audio) when it should say (5.1-Realtek Audio).

The operating system is Windows 10.

I've solved this a few times in the past in Win7 and Win10, but I can't remember where to find the option. Windows defaults to 2 speaker setup and the driver picks up on the global setting. In one of the sound configuration windows is an option to select 5.1.
I've already configured the Realtek driver options for 5.1 and can test successfully. The most recent Realtek driver is installed and 5.1 works for applications like Battlefield.

Can anyone point the way to the option in windows?
