Windows Sidebar, mind of it own?

Yesterday when I went to use my labtop the windows sidebar opened on its own. I turned this feature off almost a year ago so i am unsure how this is happening. I did see that microsoft had some updates that came out recently and i am wondering if it may be due to that.

It's probably caused by the MS Update. Turn if off again and if that thing opens again by itself, you might want to call in the Ghost Busters!

Yeah, i have been losing it then it will randomly open again 20 minutes to like 6 hours later. Do you have the ghost busters number? ^^

One way to find out if this was really caused by the update, restore the system before the update you mentioned. If the sidebar do not turn on by itself after restore, then you can conclude it was caused by the MS Update.

Hmm, i tried removing all the updates and it is still happening. I have no idea whats going on. I tried running things like spybot and Kapersky but nothing has seemed to work. Any ideas?
