Why? It's free and easy. If you have a decent machine, just download VirtualBox.

This is client only, you need to have an MSDN sub to download server.

Dammit, won't install the 64-bit version in a VM. Downloading the 32-bit one now. lol.

32 bit one would not install in VM either, so I installed it on another actual HD.
Seems to work fine, but not having the start menu kinda sucks.
Windows key + R still brings up the Run command though. And windows 8 preview comes with IE10 😛
