Hello,
I recently installed Windows Server 2003 and some hardware drivers, namely the chipset INF and ATI video drivers (after enabling DirectX). This seemed go well.
I also installed the Intel Application Accelerator RAID edition as I was installing the O.S. on a RAID 0 array. At this point I had already installed the O.S. using the F6 method and the floppy disk.
The IAAR seemed to install fine, but when I rebooted and run the IAAR Control Panel applet, a dialog box pops up and tells me the Application Accelerator driver can't be found.
Now I know the IAAR doesn't list Windows Server as a compatible operating system so:
a) Would you think IAAR is working, even although I can't run the Control Panel applet and the storage driver is listed as isStor.sys?
b) Or can I run Windows Server 2003 *without* IAAR? I'd actually like to run without it but don't know if it's required software for those with an 875P, Serial ATA and RAID 0.
Many thanks.
