Ok, probably the most ridiculous question that has ever come across the boards.

Where do the PrtScn photo's get saved on your computer?

Imageshack's quickphoto isnt working for STALKER (pc game) so i need to get a screenshot of it.

thats not a ridiculous question, its a good one, i think i had no idea i could even do a screen capture till last year without any other software to do it..

if your at the desktop, and press the printscreen key, it goes to the clipboard, so if you open something like mspaint or word, etc., you can then "paste" it there. try fraps to do a screen shot of STALKER, and it puts the screenshots to an actual folder.
 
Extra tip that isn't related to video game screen captures. If you hold alt and then press print screen, it will only capture the content of the active window in the clipboard.
 
There are also some nice free clipboard managers if you would like more flexibility. Check nonags for instance.
 
Vista comes with a great little tool called "Snipper." It goes where ever you tell it to using SAVE AS.
