So...you are blaming windows and PC's for your inability to use a computer...nice.

BTW, my windows and all my PC's work flawlessly.

That's like a MARINE blaming the weapon for not hitting the target.

Who do you blame when the gun jams?

Dude STFU and go fix it.

You seriously are going to get no sympathy here. This is ANANDTECH.

Sympathy? Why would I look for sympathy over something like this?

Well than what do you want?

From what I've seen, your obviously incompetent at fixing a Windows install. All you are going to get is flames here. And for the first time, I'd say rightly so. Most of these guys know their stuff.

You COMPLETLY missed the point. I CAN fix the problem, i'm just SICK of constantly having to BABY my WINDOWS installs woth tons of virus scans, spyware scans, crashes fixes, driver fixes, software that leaves itself behind when uninstalled, and other crap like that. It's not a matter of technical know how, it's a matter of wanting a simple computer that won't cause m to spend an afternoon a week troubleshooting of scanning.

Yes, Mechanincal faliures happen and a Seagate Hard Drive is a Seagate Hard Drive regardless of it is in a PC of a Mac. I'm not as annoyed at the hardware side as I am at the Os.,

I've been running windows since 3.11, and DOS before that. I have never run virus protection until XP due to blaster-type viruses. I have never gotten a virus except for Blaster which only got on my laptop because I didn't use it for about 6 months and as soon as I got it online to update, it got hit with blaster :p

Otherwise I've never needed virus scanners or adware scanners. I really have no need for em.
