I'm using Suse Linux right now because it is the only OS that will currently load and not reboot. Neither of my two Windows Partitions are working.

So...you are blaming windows and PC's for your inability to use a computer...nice.

BTW, my windows and all my PC's work flawlessly.

You're kidding right?

<--runs his pc as a pvr 24x7, plays games, demos, encodes, bittorrent, editing, listening to music, watching HD or DVDs, all that and no issues.

1) what the hell is pebkac?

2) good for you, for a while my pc worked flawlessly also, now it runs like crap, which means i'll at LEAST have to reformat the OS to get it working again. I don't have the time, energy, or the intrest to go through all of that crap anymore.

3) I do my gaming on my 360 so my high end pc is a little redundant right now.

4) I consider myself very adept at using a computer, I can fix the problems with a WinTel box (or the WinMD box), i just don't want have to deal with the same crap over and over again.

1. Problem exists between keyboard and chair

2. I have never had to reformat a computer. That is entirely user error, you are simply not experienced enough to understand this. I have seen people like you crash Linux, so don't think you are safe on another computer.

3. And dropping $600 on a slower computer is retarded.

4. Refer to #1 and #2

the fact that you used the word "WinTEL" says that you're already a mac advocate and you simply started this thread to fish for mac/pc flames

big gene steinberg fan?
