windows network / outlook questions

ok, the way things are set up at my company, when a user wants to use another workstation that theyve never used before, someone has to set outlook up for them, that is run outlook, give the servername, the username, etc. After that, the user is always able to login and use outlook. This is a pain, im not a windows network guy, so i thought id ask if there was an easier way of doing this... woudl this require roaming profiles? some of our users keep lots of files in their local profiles so moving everyone to roaming would eat up lots of space.

btw, these are winNT servers, most clients are on XP. we will be migrating our remaining winNT servers to win2k3 later this year.

There are tools that can automatically setup outlook profiles (modprof and newprof IIRC), you could just put those in the user's login script.

roaming profiles would work... but i think youd then have to path the email storage to a file server and not locally.
