I have windows mobile 5.0. I upgraded my phone from 2003 and now the sync to my pc is broken 🙁

Have you uninstalled Activesync and then reinstalled the lastest version (4.2)?

LOL. Welcome to the wonderful world of WM5. I have a Dell Axim x51v and a PPC6700, both with WM5. Both have some real shortcomings, crashing and missing some features that were present in the 2003 version.

Not that I would willingly give up my PPC6700, though...it's a pretty amazing device (when it works). Most of my complaints center around the phone (mal)functions.

I did an upgrade to 4.2, but I did not uninstall and then install. I did do an uninstall and reinstall when I did 4.1. I spent like 2 solid weeks doing nothing but trying to find documents and help on this. I followed a lot of suggestions, but never got it to work. I kinda got burnt out on it now and am just accepting that microsoft sucks and if I'm lucky, some day a patch will come out to fix it.
