Windows Media player

Here at work I try to view a movie using Windows Media player but every time I try to play a movie, one side of the screen will play the movie at it's default resolution while the other screen is completely filled with said movie (full screen on opposing monitor). Is there any way to make it so it does not show full screen on the opposite monitor? Thanks in advance.

What I've done in the past is open WMP, move it to the second screen, maximize it, and then open the movie from within WMP. That usually forces it to play the video in the second screen only and it works even if you go fullscreen.
