Windows Media Player volume problem.

Anytime I play an mp3, video, etc. and I drag the Seek bar to fast forward the song/movie the volume goes WAY up. The volume indicator doesn't physically move nor does the system volume in the PLay Control but the actual volume goes up way too high.
Not sure when this started either.
OS is Windows XP Pro w/sp2.

Any ideas or maybe a different program I can install that will play videos and audio files so I can see if I can reproduce the problem?

It started when you installed SP2. I had the exact same problem. Simply reinstall your audio drivers.

That did it for me.
