Windows Media Player video quality is all messed up. How do I fix it?

This just started happening the other day for no apparent reason. The videos look kind of like they were shot through a heat vision camera. Any idea why this would happen?

Yes It sound like your Media Codecs are hosed...

Check here http://www.moviecodec.com/topics/5036p1.html to download new packages. nimo codec package is one I like.

I'd be extremely careful with these codec packages. The most I've used in that respect is FFDSHOW (which is great), but besides ffdshow, I'd stick to single use codecs... mine happen to be mostly from Gabest. :thumbsup:

I've seen that alot of codec packs contain spyware. These ones you guys suggest, how are they spyware wise?
