I was listening to music on my Windows Media Player last night and it was working fine. Before I turned the computer off, that annoying Media Player Updates Available thing popped up to which I promptly pressed No and shut the computer down.
Well, when I tried to load my music this morning, a WMP thing pops up and says "Thank You For Choosing Windows Media Player 10." But I didn't install WMP 10. I want my old WMP 9 back, but everytime I go to install it from the web or an old CD to which I keep all of my programs on, it says that WMP 9 is already installed on my PC.
I checked the Add/Remove Programs, but it isn't in there. I really need help with this one because music helps me concentrate when doing work (noisy TV next to me) and I have my Final Argument Paper for College due tomorrow.
EDIT: I can play all of my songs on my VLC Media Player, but the way the playlists are set-up are just a hassle to deal with and the sound quality is skewed due to Equalizers being off.
