Windows Media Player on toolbar?

I was at a friend's house the other day and he was messing about on the internet and he was watching some music videos in a small window on his toolbar. He told me how he did it, and it seemed simple. Well, when I got home, I tried it out for myself, but I don't think I can. I know that you just 'right click' on the toolbar and go to the >toolbar tab and it should say Windows Media Player, but mine does not.

He is running Win XP Pro and I'm running XP Home. Is this not an option with XP Home, or do I have to enable it somewhere?

Just checked - it is definitely an option with XP Pro, but also - with SP1 and Sp2 installed.

Do you have WMP 9.0 installed. I dont think the toolbar option is availible on the original WM XP player.

Win XP and WMP9, right-click on your taskbar -> Toolbars -> Windows Media Player. It will only show up when you minimize WMP.

YES - WMP 9 has been in my system since SP1. It is still there with SP2. I can't remember how it was toolbar-wise before SP1. :) It shows up on my toolbar list WITHOUT WMP9 being minimized.
