Does anyone know the answer to how many times you can restore the Windows Media License? I seem to get the error code "C00D272F" (without quotes) from Windows Media. If anyone can help, please let me know. I cannot play my protected music. I thought I would be able to restore my license when I re-installed Windows.

I have been able to restore many times without any problems.

Try this...after you have downloaded the protected music, burn it to a cdrw(so you can erase it later) then go to your cd mastering program (I use record now max). Then extract the song from the cd as an mp3...now your music is is free and clear of the protection crap.
