Windows Media Player? Do you use it or another media player?

I'm using Windows Media Player now for movies etc, but it's slow on my computer. Any better ones that you guys recommend?

I use MP7 for .asf, MP6.4 for all other video format

i hate version7 so much! it's SO big and bloated. but I have to put up with it because it's the only damn thing that plays 300k streams from a certain website.

WMP is just about the only choice. Real Player is twice as bloated as WMP7(and no, I don't know how they did it), and there really isn't anything else out there that'll play AVIs and MPGs without a problem.

I use WMP 7 too Its far to big but there isn't much else out there that is intergrated and easy to use.

Media Player's just the best i think, no need to download anything else. if you're using 7, i'd suggestt you remove it IMMEDIATELY. it's way too overbloated, and 6 was just what i wanted. quick, fast, simple, and small. also divx's have a major problem with 7, most of my movies wouldn't work on 7 at all.

I use PowerDVD, it does pretty much everything except divx (gotta keep WMP for something).

i haven't seen anything yet that beats WMP6 when it comes to mpegs, of any type

Yeah, but what happens when WMP 6.4 gets fuX0r3d up?! I've been having probs as covered in this thread but, I haven't gotten much of a solution.

Any ideas?
