I know this has been asked before (searched, but last thread was a month ago), but I haven't been able to skip backwards or forwards in most videos i have - any fixes on this issue?


EDIT: i've somewhat solved this, but i'm not sure if it works on every file. Full-screen the video, then you can shift forwards or backwards any way you want. After you minimize it after a full-screen you can skip forwards and backwards too.
 
supposedly better audio decoding/video decoding, and it looks a bit nicer. this non-skipping backwards/forwards is getting annoying though
 
This might be a dumb question, but does WMP 9.0 allows you to open multiple video (mpg, Avi, etc) files at the same time?
 
LOL. Windows Media Player 9 is currently a beta version. There will be bugs to fix.

I have the same problem. Had problems copying from CD to HD as well using WMP 9.0
