I'm running Windows Media Player version 7.01.00.3055 with Windows 2000 on a GeForce 2 GTS hardware version 3.15.0013 with driver version 2.3.1.1. When playing long mpegs WMP has a tendency to freeze the video while the sound keeps going. To solve this problem the software must be restarted. Does anyone else have this problem or know a solution?

are you experiencing that problem only for certain file types? e.g : only MPGs or for all type of movie files??
