For some reason i cant play most videos that i have with wmp11, like .avi
And when i go to websites like ebaumsworld.com and try to view the videos they dont work

Is there an addon that i'm missing?
 
Just install MPC and use that for any videos that don't work with WMP11. Or use VLC

I'm sure you can uninstall it, just go to add remove programs and click the box on the top right that says "show updates" or something like that
