Windows Media Player 10 keeps crashing...

It will get through a good portion of my DVD but then all a sudden it crashes. It does it with interactual and MP. Could it be one of the programs I'm running causing it? The following are the ones that are running on my Windows XP Pro laptop.

Trillian
ObjectDock
AVG
Konfabulator

That's about it besides firefox. The DVD's are backup copies of the ones that I own but are back home (I'm in Florida for a summer internship). That shouldn't matter though right? THey play all the way through on a regular entertainment center just fine.

I got a suggestion. When the crashes happen, check your Event Logs and see if there is a file listed. SImilar problem happened to me, and it was related to a ULEAD software program. The Logs showed some sort of file name, and I did a search on it, and saw it was in the ULEAD directory. Uninstalled ULEAD, and no more crashes.

Just a thought.

(Logs are found in Control Panel -- Administrative Tools -- Event Viewer)
