Windows Media & License Management Question..

I upgraded my hdd and left my mp3's intact on the original drive. My new drive is the primary HDD with Windows Media Player on it. However, when I go back and try to play these legal mp3's, they state they are not valid. Where are the licenses actually stored and do I need to move them to the new drive??
