I am having some issue with Media Center not finding clear quam channels. I have MCE 2005 and Win 7 Versions and none of them seem to be able to find clear quam channels. I can manually tune them but it won't scan and find them. I have an HDhome run tuner and it finds the channels through that just fine but won't find them on stand alone tuners. I have a PCI Hybrid tuner and a USB tuner and they both seem to have the same issues.

So what happened to thegreenbutton.com forum? They don't seem to exist anymore.

Thegreenbutton sold out to MS, who did a shit job of integrating with their "experts exchange", it's a fucking colossal mess now. I'm holding back, I don't want you to get the wrong idea of the place now.

This is a community project trying to replace the "official" one now: http://thegreenbutton.tv/forums/

And if you just go to thegreenbutton.com, it will redirect you to the remants of the old board. I would also check Silicondust support forums, they are pretty good there from what I've seen.

Anyways, after rereading it...are you saying it will pick up the HDHR tuners, but not the PCI or USB tuners?

Yes it will pick up all the digital tuners but it won't find channels from the non-HD homerun tuner. So MCE will give me the choice to setup three tuners. The 2 HD-homerun tuners and the new USB stick tuner. When I deselect the HD-homerun tuners and setup the stick tuner MCE does not find clear quam channels. I know this was an issue in MCE 2005 but I figured they fixed it in Win 7 MC. I can go in and manually tune those channels in the guide editor but it won't select them automatically when it scans for them. I am trying to setup my Win 7 laptop as a mobile media center for when we are traveling.

Well if you type in thegreenbutton.com you get forwarded to the MS version of the old sight. I HATE the MS forum interface. What the hell is an RSS subscription? I just want them to send me a frigging email when I get a response to my post LOL. I don't like the less is better mentality that MS has on their forum interface.

Yeah I hate the new version of the old site, you can try the link I had in my first post, it's NOT the MS version. Can't help, all I have is the HDHR and it can be trouble enough when Comcast changes channel numbers on me. Ugh.
