Yeah, it was taking up close to 20% on my work computer (Dual Xeon 933).

Your post had me very interested until I read this. Absolutely pathetic. I'll stick with Winamp's 1-2% CPU usage and 4MB RAM usage, thanks

Its really only the vis that takes that CPU up. Turn off the psychotic visuals, and put on something simple like the bars that winamp uses, and it will be exactly the same.

RAM usage is another story, but I dont have 512mb of ram for it to sit unused.

6.4 is still on the machine...it's in the same folder just make a shortcut to it.
