Hello,
I hope someone here can help me on this one.
I've got a friend with a computer running Windows ME.
How can he get Windows to use his current email program (Incredimail) instead of Outlook Express for any MAPI uses.

I told him to go under
Internet Explorer
"Tools"
"Internet Options"
"Programs"
Under "E-mail"
pick "Incredimail"

He told me he did that and now Windows chooses Incredimail sometimes,
sometimes not.
Is there a registry key(s) I can change that would probably solve the problem?

I haven't driven over there to look at it,it's about 30 miles away and we don't work the same hours.

Maybe a "Wizard" we could run to fix the settings?

Here's a web page that actually goes over info on the reverse of what you want (in other words, to set OE as default), but it lists the various registry settings, too. So, they should be checked to make sure they specify Incredimail instead of OE.


Question: When specifically is OE hijacking the default? Is it when he chooses "SendTo Email", for example?
