Windows ME, just purchased, Registeration? HOW?

Hello,
I recently purchased Windows ME, but how do I register? Bought it brand new, but it didn't come with no registeration card? Or do you register after you install Windows ME on your PC?

Do you really wan't to register? There is no need for it at all.

But I guess you can do it electronically via www.microsoft.com

your best bet is to put it back in the box and take it back to the store and get windows 98. Windows ME is the biggest piece of crap I have ever delt with in my life. It doesn't support anything in the way of video cards... ATI, GEforce. I am gonna try the voodoo 5 but my expectations are low. The best place for Windows ME is the garbadge can.

I would have to agree, your better off taking WinMe back and spending your money on Win2K.

Your Microsoft Tech Support will begin the first time you call for help. At that time they will get the information needed.

BTW: For those that said to return it... how is this helping the persons question? Are you trying to be helpful by advancing problems you had... I mean really, do you think everyone that is running WinMe is having problems, or WILL have problems.

I have installed WinMe in 4 computers, while 1 did give me an obstacle, I never considered it a problem. I resolved the issue within 10 minutes. Your mileage may vary

Same here Doc, installed it on 4 systems of my family and it works fine. I do not know why so many people hate it so much? I use Win2K myself but I have to use ME in a dual boot to use my steering wheel, as it has no 2k drivers.
