Ever since I've installed Windows ME on two machines, I've been occassionally getting "Windows Protection Error- You must restart you computer" when attempting to shutdown! I can't restart with the keyboard, I have to do it manually and then it goes through the scan disk. I have this problem on my PC with the Asus CUSL2 and Abit BX133 Raid. What is going on here? These were clean installs..Has anyone encountered the same problem? I'm using the latest Bios for both the motherboards so I doubt it's a motherboard issue. Latest drivers for the Nvidia videocards and latest soundcard drivers.
Please advise with any suggestions!
