Quick question

Does Windows MCE 2005 have the remote desktop server option? I want to know if my other computer could connect to a HTPC through remote desktop.

Is the MCE version worth picking up? I have only seen a screenie of it. Looks more appealing to the eye. What other fun stuff is in store with this near 1 Gig OS?

Yep, I use remote desktop to connect to my Media Center PC all the time. The only limitation is that you can't play video/live TV on the remote desktop.

But, you can play any Recorded TV show over your network by using WMP10. Music, Radio, Pictures, they all work fine.

If need an OS for a new PC/Media PC I recommend WinMCE2005. Most of the benefits of WinXP Pro and the media stuff rolled into one.
