Windows Live Skydrive

I'm waiting for Google's product to come out (whenever it does).

Has anyone successfully figured out how to 'map' their live drives yet?

Is there an option for that?

I'm still waiting to try Live Mesh, which seems more interesting.

Hmm I dunno about Mesh, will have to Google it.

As for mapping, there doesn't seem to be a mechanism to do so at the moment, but I figured someone would have come up with a way to do it, hence the post....but I guess not (yet).

Is this free?

Edit: It is! I'm really starting to like the various live services offered. I hadn't even heard of skydrive before seeing this thread.

In a way it already exists.

There's a small program out there that will allow you to use a Gmail account as a networked drive on your PC.

I use Skydrive a lot, specially with the added IE7 drag-and-drop file functionality.

That said, I think Live Mesh will be even better. I'm on the waiting list for the Beta and can't wait to try it out. It will even have a Mac client 🙂
