Windows Live Mail

Well, that was not the ??? thou 🙁

I just want to know if anybody is trying the NEW WINDOWS LIVE MAIL & if they can share their thoughts on it.

I get spotty results from it. It's usually slow as molasses and sometimes it's faster. I only use it as a junk email collecter when other sites request an email address to sign up for something.

That actually...pretty much sums it up.

I can't believe your using Outlook Xpress....

It's okay...I like the interface but I agree that it's usually slow and a bit clunky.

I mostly keep it because I've had my hotmail account for so long (almost 10 years now) that I'd be a pain to backup my contacts and mail, and move everything over to something else.

You're talking about THIS right, and not the new Hotmail correct? I've been thinking about trying it, but there seems to be no reviews about its stability and what not.

Yes, that's what I am talking about & as U said, hence the reason for asking for some input because I have not been able to find to much about it.

Actually, I just read about it in the PC World magazine September edition page 34 & that's when I decided to check it further here.

It is still a Beta Build ... and I did not try it yet. Not sure if it will take over for my .msn mail account or not
or if there is even a charge to use the new email ... I know the newer version of Hotmail is still free
Also, you should easily be able to Export your Contacts from Outlook or Outlook Express .. save them as
a .csv file .. use both types (you will see what I mean when you export them) . then your new email program,
such as Thunderbird or whatever, should be able to easily import them.
