windows installation from distribution point

Recently I created distribution point to reinstall couple w2k machines. I copied I386 folder to the Distribution point and slipstreamed SP4.

Everything works out great except:

1. Can't format the partition in which original windows reside
2. All of the programs folder still exist (In program files folder) although not functional.
3. Old User profile remains

I eneded up deleting all the folders manually.

Is this normal or I am doing something worng?
