Windows Hotkey Randomness

This is really strange. Just a few minutes ago, anytime I press the Ctrl key, a windows search box appears. I haven't messed with any settings and haven't installed any new programs, or drivers. I tried restarting and this hasn't helped.

Anyone have a suggestion on how to fix this?
