Windows HDD Patch????????/

Heard that there is a patch from Microsoft for Windows concerning the HDD and closing Windows. Think it has something to do with when you close Windows with 1GH+ CPU there is not enough time to empty memory/cache???

What is it and where can I download it???

Well it's actually meant for computers running at 733+ and you can download it from Windows Update

It's a patch that adds 2 seconds to the shutdown time to ensure that the hard drive write cache has been completely cleared to the hard drive to prevent loss of data when Win98 shutsdown too fast.

Grab it either at the Corporate Download Site or Windows Update.

Read the info about it first ot make sure you want it,it can't be ubinstalled. It has given me No troubles.
