From the control panel it wont uninstall everything in the registry(left over)

The built-in uninstallers have gotten better, but it's OK to run a GPU driver sweep after doing the uninstall. If a full uninstall + driver reinstall doesn't work, then I would suspect the GPU itself is the problem.

Memory errors would do it too, I think, despite what the crash dump hints state about it not likely being a hardware problem.
