Windows gaming and graphics memory on Vista!!!

Well I need some help....

The graphics card is taking way too much memory....I was wondering all about this forever, and come across this. How do I change this? I looked in the BIOS and can't find anything.

Help please! Intel 915p chipset....Foxconn 915A01P.

Anyone?? I also can't change it in DXDIAG, which I thought you could.

No way for you to change it dude. You need to get a new MB that supports mapping io memory beyond the 32bit barrier. The 915p chipset simply does not suppor this feature.

no biggie ... unless you are running FarCry or one of a handful of 64-bit games - out of thousands

32bit games don't really need more memory ... not yet
