Windows Font Problem

I recently noticed that my windows XP font in windows changes from slightly bold, to normal, everytime i refresh, any ideas why? I had an LCD a little while ago, which I have since returned, and switched back to my CRT. Could it have something to do with cleartype?

Yeah I have had some hit and miss with cleartype as well (and that?s sounds like what your problem is). Since your using a crt now, you might want to consider just disabling it.
