Windows Explorer Issue after installing IE6

Strange occurance here, after installing IE6 on a Windows2K SP2 machine the left side of my folder view in windows explorer is greyed out. Kinda wierd, not sure what;s going on. There's a screenshot of the problem below.

that's really odd!
can only suggest you either try repairing the IE install or if that doesn't work restore to previous windows configuration!
you can do either in add|remove programs by highlightig IE, choose remove & a new box should pop up with the aforementioned options.
