I have 2 machines both running Win2k, I installed them myself with the exact same configurations, I am having the following problem with Windows Explorer.

Whenever you click on a jpg file, or any other image file in Windows Explorer a preview image will be generated and shown on the left hand side of the pictures if you're folder options are set to view as web & details. Well, it works fine on one machine but it's not working on the other. I need that preview option to work when I'm searching for a specific picture and I don't want to have to open all the pictures to find it. Can someone help? Thanks.

In Windows Explorer, click on Tools, Folder Options. On the General Tab there is a section for Web View. Under that section, select 'Enable Web content in folders' and click OK and you're done..

Ugh, I can't stand that option. My solution is to disable that altogether and have it all view like filemanager... Just take the time to name your pictures what they are, no searching involved! ;)

Fardringle, that was the first thing I tried but it still doesn't do it. Thanks for the advice.
