Windows explorer has encountered a problem....

I had my computer working for a year and my account was the only one on the computer until recently i created 4 other accounts for my family. Now that i have done that my family members keep getting an error message that windows explorer.exe needs to shut down, do you want to send an error message to microsoft? well once they click yes or no it restarts explorer.exe which flashes the toolbar and then they continue working until it does it again. I have never had this problem and i still dont on my account. Any ideas about whats causing this ?

btw its running xp
i can get specifics on the error message if needed
