Windows explorer errors

I keep getting a windows explorer error every time i access a particular folder on my D: drive. I checked a bunch of other folders and files, but this is the only one that is giving me the error. I scanned it, but no viruses were found and it only started doing this today. The folder contains top gear episodes, two of which are still downloading. I was going to burn the episodes to DVD and then delete the foler to see if it helps. Any other suggestions?

It was the xvid codec. I guess the new episodes are encoded in a newer format that my old codec wouldn't recognize, thus causing the explorer error. So i updated and it works ok now.
